Glass Hand Boiler

Hand Boilers are beautiful twisted glass sculptures containing a liquid that demonstrate Charles’ law (Jacques Charles, related to gay-Lussac’s law). Simply hold down the bottom bulb and, as heat is transferred from your bare hand, the contained liquid will “boil” (release the bulb to let the liquid cold down and return to the bottom in a few minutes).
