Microbial Culture Kit

Simple set (without packaging) including:

• 4 standard size Petri dishes (90mm)
• 2 large format Petri dishes (150mm)
• 1 agar agar pouch (11.5 g), to make 500 ml
• 8 sterile cotton applicators

Requires an adult: must boil water to prepare the agar.

A basic thermometer can be useful (just to check the temperature of the mixture before pouring).

Requires mask and gloves for handling bacterial cultures (after incubation), as a precaution.
