Solar Powered Space Rover – Wood DIY Building Kit

No batteries needed, this space rover runs on solar energy! Just like the rovers sent to Mars, this small spacecraft was designed to explore unknown planets, their climate and geology, and search for traces of life and resources. It’s up to you to build it!

This realistic model includes the solar-powered motor system to move, a mastcam  to see far away, a spectrometer to analyze the soil, you only need to decide what planet to explore!

Solar powered (or can use incandescent bulbs). No glue required. Made of non-toxic wood veneer.

Average building time: 2 to 3 hours, recommended for ages 9 and up or with adult help.
