A unique kit for prism glasses with total reflection, ideal for numerous exciting experiments on optical perception.

The image that the eye lens casts onto our retina is upside down, Leonardo da Vinci discovered this 500 years ago. But how is it that we still see a “correct”, upright image? With the inversion glasses you can investigate this question.
What is vision anyway? The American psychologist George Stratton was also working on a scientific answer to this question when he experimented with inversion prisms for the first time in 1896. He wanted to know whether the visual process could adapt to the upside-down image in such a way that the world would look “normal” again to the observer.
With the inversion glasses, you can find an answer yourself.

This kit swaps top and bottom. To see what happens when you swap left and right, take a look at the pseudoscope.
